APM 2 Prism Diagonal w Fast-Lock and Ultra Broadband Coating

In contrast to zenith mirrors, the optical path is closed to the rear on this prism. This prevents contamination of the internal optics. In addition, a possible degeneration of a mirror surface is excluded, the transmission values (reflection) remain constant.

The prism diagonal (glass substrate K9 = BK-7) is precisely manufactured and offers the highest resolution. Contrast and image brightness are effectively supported by the UBMC ultra broadband coating.

The stable body is precisely CNC-milled. The accessories are held securely with the modern 2 APM quick-release clamp (Q-Lock). The eyepiece-side accessories are held in place over the entire surface by means of a ring clamp. In contrast to clamping screws, the eyepiece or adapter is centered and precisely on the optical axis. Not pressed against the opposite surface. The front 2 barrel can be unscrewed and has the familiar 2 SC thread.
